2025 Schoolhouse Rocks 5K, Fun Run & Festival

Join 1,500+ parents, kids, teachers, students, neighbors, runners and non-runners for the Schoolhouse Rocks 5K Run or 1-mile Fun Run. At 9am on Sunday, May 18, 2025, our community will come together for fun and exercise, all in support of our MPCSD schools! After the race, enjoy the festival featuring bouncy houses, games, music, food trucks, and tons of FUN!
2025 registration pricing:
5K Run (timed):
Early Bird Price before April 21: $55 per runner (includes festival)
Standard Price April 22-May 14: $65 per runner (includes festival)
1-Mile Fun Run (not timed)
Early Bird Price before April 21: $45 per runner (includes festival)
Standard Price April 22-May 14: $55 per runner (includes festival)
Festival Only: FREE
Special Early Registration Prize Drawing: Register either for the 5K or 1-mile Fun Run before the early registration deadline (April 21) and you will be entered into a special drawing to win delivery of your race t-shirt(s) and bib(s) to your home and a reserved parking space in the Hillview Parking lot on race day!
Important notes about race registration:
To ensure the safety of all attendees, minors under the age of 11 must be accompanied on the race course by a registered adult in order to participate in the 1-mile Fun Run or 5K Race.
Please do not register your furry, four-legged family members for the event. They can participate for free! Pet registration has caused unintentional issues with the awards in past years' events.
All race registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This policy applies to all registrants and is in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected family/business emergency, have a medical emergency, etc.

Each year, we offer the opportunity for MPCSD families to support the event by becoming a Family Sponsor for $500. Family Sponsors help to underwrite the cost of the event and receive the following special benefits:
Family name on race t-shirt (if sign up by April 21st)
5 race entries ($275 value)
Delivery of race packet to your house (t-shirts and race bibs)
$25 Fleet Feet voucher for all your running and workout apparel (will be delivered with your race t-shirts and bibs)
Note: $225 of the Family Sponsorship donation is tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt via email.
