2026 Schoolhouse Rocks 5K, Fun Run & Festival:

Let’s come together to run, walk, jog, or stroll in support of Menlo Park City School District schools! Join more than 1,500 community members at the 2026 Schoolhouse Rocks 5K, Fun Run & Festival on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 9 AM at Hillview Middle School. The event is open to everyone in the community and includes a post-race festival featuring bouncy houses, games, music, food trucks, and plenty of family fun. The event is rain or shine. There is no day-of-event registration, so please plan ahead.

2026 Schoolhouse Rocks 5K, Fun Run & Festival Registration Opens March 30!
5K (Timed) Registration Fees:
Early Bird (March 30-April 19): $55
Standard (April 20-May 12): $65
Includes post-race festival
1-Mile Fun Run (Untimed) Registration Fees:
Early Bird (March 30-April 19): $45
Standard (April 20-May 12): $55
Includes post-race festival
Festival Only: FREE **The festival begins at 9:45 AM on race day.
Important Registration Notes:
For safety, children under age 11 must be accompanied on the race course by a registered adult.
The 5K is a timed race. The 1-Mile Fun Run is not timed.
Please do not register pets. They are welcome to join you for free! Pet registration has caused unintentional issues with the awards in past years' events.
Participants can run, jog, walk, or stroll for either event.

Note: $325 of the family sponsorship donation is tax-deductible. All Family Sponsors will be provided with a tax receipt once the Family Sponsorship payment is received by MPAEF. The value of the Family Sponsorship donation will count towards a family's listing on the Donor Roll in the Annual Report.
